Agolin® ruminant
Plant extracts are known for their positive effects on palatability, control of growth of bacteria and fungi and for their antioxidant properties.
AGOLIN RUMINANT is a blend of high quality plant active ingredients from e.g. coriander, nutmeg, lemon grass and carrot, designed to optimize feed intake and digestive functions.
Product features are its pleasant smell, physical form, stability and efficacy, which are well accepted by the industry and farmers.
Recent in situ University trials from the UK demonstrate that AGOLIN RUMINANT has the potential to alleviate nutritional stress in ruminants.
Reduced methane production results in lower feed energy loss for ruminants. Lower ammonia production leads to improved utilization of proteins.
In this study a decreased acetic acid / propionic acid ratio was observed, which leads to a decreased hydrogen surplus in the rumen, and partly explains the reduced methane production.
A correlation between increased propionic acid concentration and improved animal production is also known.
Recent trials in Europe, Asia and the USA with dairy cows, beef cattle and sheep have shown positive effects on feed intake, animal performance and profitability.

LAMBS
